Kindergarten Graduation

Well folks, we have two graduates, well, Kindergarten graduates that is!  Since Seth and Kayden didn't get to have a graduation ceremony at school, we thought we would take them out and spoil them.  Of course I had to get the other 4 kids a little something too so they didn't get their feelings hurt.

We took the kids to Tepanyaki for dinner.  This restaurant is super fun because they cook the food right in front of you.  Kayden was a little unsure about the fire they would occasionally light, but the kids had a good time.

Seth didn't want to take off his new hat and was so happy with his new pair of rollerblades.  Kayden got a new scooter as well. Man we sure have some cute kids!  Here are some photos from the night:

One of the Best Days of My Life

On April 20, 2013 I married my best friend, my soul mate, and the love of my life.  It was a small simple ceremony in our home with the bishop and a few of our neighbors as witnesses.  Oh and of course Liam, and Lola! We had planned to keep it a secret until we had a proper wedding, but I just couldn't do it any longer!

We still plan on having a bigger wedding ceremony and reception toward the end of the year for friends and family.  I feel like it is important for our children to be a part of the wedding ceremony.  However, we truly felt like it was time we tied the knot after nearly 4 years together.

I feel so lucky to have Marcus as my husband.  He truly has changed my life in so many ways, some of which I'm not sure he will ever truly understand.  Also, having his family around has filled a void that I have had in my life for a very long time, and also a void in my children's lives as well.  I am so grateful for them accepting me into their family and my kids as if they were their own grandkids.

And finally, having Liam together was one of the best decisions we have ever made.  I cannot imagine our life without him.  It was scary at first when I found out I was pregnant and Marcus was spending half of his time in Wales and half of it here.  It was even scarier telling family!  But I look back now and I feel so blessed it happened.   I have loved every minute of watching Marcus be a dad.  His eyes light up every time he sees his children.  I always dreamed I'd marry someone that was such an amazing father.  My dream came true, in so many ways.

I will love you forever Marcus Christakis Liassides! I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.

Camp Fire Time

I love summer time in Utah.  There is nothing like a good camp fire, hobo dinners and s'mores!!! I might have cheated for just one night on my diet, but I couldn't help it!

Hopefully this year we can do some camping as well.  We didn't get the chance last summer and I know the kids will love it.  Its amazing to think the mountains are literally on our doorstep.  Here are some photos of our night:
